On the eve of Victory Day, the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences held the "Immortal Regiment" campaign for the first time. The institute's employees took an active part in the event, bringing portraits of their relatives and friends who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The event became a symbol of the continuity of generations, respect for the heroic past of our country and the memory of the people’s feat.
