The Coordinating Council is an advisory body created to facilitate interaction between the Council for Science and Education and public youth associations and organizations. Its responsibilities include coordinating the activities of associations of young scientists, teachers, graduate students, and undergraduates, preparing proposals on current issues of state scientific and technical policy and education policy, as well as issues related to the replacement of scientific and teaching personnel.

Dmitry Glukhovets has been working at the IO RAS since 2013. Since 2021, he has headed the Ocean Optics Laboratory, and since 2023, he has headed the Institute's Council of Young Scientists. The inclusion of an IO RAS representative in the Council will strengthen the Institute's community of young scientists' ties with the federal level and increase their active participation in developing measures to support young scientists.

The Institute's staff congratulates Dmitry on joining the Coordination Council and wishes him fruitful work for the benefit of Russian science.
