“Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics” is peer-reviewed journal. The Editorial Board of the Journal accepts for publication scientific articles, short communications and reviews describing the current state of the principal research aspects of hydrophysics:
– issues of fundamental hydrophysics;
– hydrophysical and biogeochemical fields and processes;
– interaction of marine objects*, ocean and atmosphere;
– hydroacoustics;
– hydrooptics;
– technical hydrophysics;
– the history of science and technics in hydrophysics.
The research subjects discussed in the Journal are hydrophysical problems of oceans and seas, river mouths, large lakes and reservoirs and their mathematical and laboratory modeling.
* The marine object refers to underwater and surface ships and vehicles, engineering structures, features of the bottom and coastline, marine mammals and fish.
“Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics” is published under the guidance of the Department of the Earth Sciences of RAS since 2008, issued 4 times a year.
The Journal is included in the list of Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of the Russian Federation, indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index RSCI (it is available on Web of Science) and Scopus.
All published articles are open access in the electronic online edition of the Journal https://hydrophysics.spbrc.ru/. The Journal is published in two languages – the papers can be submitted in Russian or English. Selected articles are translated from Russian into English.
The Journal “Fundamental and Applied Hydrophysics” is intended for scientists, engineers, students, graduate students and teachers of the higher education institutions specializing in fundamental and applied hydrophysics.
