In accordance with the State Task and with the financial support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, on July 23, 2020, during the integrated coastal-marine scientific expedition "Black Sea - 2020", a Spoondrifter Spotter buoy was installed abeam Gelendzhik at a depth of 72 meters, 6 kilometers from the coast.
Hourly updated wind wave data (height, period and direction of waves) measured every 30 minutes by the Spoondrifter Spotter buoy can be viewed at the link:
