The 49th scientific voyage of the RV Akademik Boris Petrov, which was carried out from June 1 to June 23, 2022 (23 days) in the territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation in the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea, has ended. The aim of the expedition was to obtain new data on the paleogeography of landscapes in the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea and to monitor spatiotemporal changes in the abiotic and biotic components of the Baltic Sea ecosystem.
Head of the expedition - PhD D.V. Dorokhov. The expedition was attended by 22 employees of the Atlantic Branch of IO RAS (Kaliningrad), 2 of which are also employees and 8 students of the Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad). Also, 3 employees of All-Russian Research Geological Institute (St. Petersburg), 2 employees of Split LLC (Moscow) and 1 employee of NPO DEKO LLC (Moscow) took part in the expedition.
