On July 3, 2023, the Scientific Council dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Academician Alexander Petrovich Lisitzin was held at the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology RAS. Not only employees of the institute took part in it. The meeting was attended by members of the family of Alexander Petrovich: his son Nikolai Alexandrovich, grandson Alexander Petrovich, cousin Alexander Pavlovich Ettinger, nephew Academician Andrei Borisovich Lisitsyn and others.
Also Academician-Secretary of the ONZ RAS Nikolai Stefanovich Bortnikov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Mikhailovich Kotlyakov, Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Viktorovich Maslov, Tatyana Ivanovna Moiseenko, Alexei Leonidovich Sobisevich also came to the IO RAS. We welcomed guests from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Geological Institute RAS, Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry RAS, Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth RAS, Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics RAS, Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, Vinogradsky Institute of Microbiology of RAS, Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS, Vernadsky State Geological Museum, Gramberg VNIIOkeangeology, Atlantic and Northwestern Branches of IO RAS. This meeting was also attended by former employees of the the Lisitzin Laboratory of Physical and Geological Research.
Director of the IO RAS Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksey Valentinovich Sokov, Scientific Director of the Institute Academician Robert Iskanderovich Nigmatulin, Scientific Director of the Geological Direction Academician Leopold Isaevich Lobkovsky, Academician Mikhail Vladimirovich Flint and others spoke in memory.
To the 100th anniversary of Academician Lisitzin A.P. by the staff of the IO RAS, relatives and people who worked with Alexander Petrovich for a long time, and at their expense, a book of memoirs “Academician Alexander Petrovich Lisitzin.
