From 6 to 8 February 2018 the conference "Underwater Intervention" was held in New Orleans (USA) (Underwater Intervention 2018). 

Within the framework of the section "Manned underwater vehicles" Anatoly Mikhailovich Sagalevich made a report «30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MIR SUBMERSIBLE CREATION». The participants warmly congratulated the speaker.

The chairman of the section William Kohnen (William Kohnen) handed a memorable gift in the form of a porthole of the inhabited sphere of submersible creation with engraving of two "Mir" to A.Sagalevich and congratulatory words on the 30th anniversary of the Marine Technological Society of the USA, the organizer of the conference.

The jubilee was congratulated by James Cameron, Don Walsh, Phil Newton and many other famous submariners.
