From 5 to 8 February 2018 Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of RAS participated in the first International Geological and Geophysical Conference and Exhibition "Modern Technologies for Exploration and Development of Eurasian Resources" (GeoEurasia2018, www.gece.moscow )

The International Geological and Geophysical Conference and Exhibition GeoEurasia-2018 (GeoEurasia: Conference and Exhibition (GECE 2018)) was held for the first time and gathered traditional and new conferences on the same site with the participation of the International Public Organization Euro-Asian Geophysical Society, International Association of Scientific, Technical and Business Cooperation in Geophysical Research and Wellwork, Public Organization Russian Geological Society and partners.

The exhibition was organized simultaneously with the work of the conference, where achievements and innovative developments in geophysics and geology in Russia were presented. Participation in the exhibition is an excellent opportunity for companies to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the industry, to demonstrate new technologies and equipment, and to expand their partner and client connections.

The exhibition was organized by the Interregional Public Organization Euro-Asian Geophysical Society (EAGS) and was held at the World Trade Center in Krasnaya Presnya (Moscow).

The stand of the IO RAS presented the latest developments of the bottom seismic recorders for a wide range of studies. Also on the stand were widely represented the examples of the application of the presented bottom instruments in scientific and industrial applications objects.

The IO RAS staff spoke at the conference with a number of reports on topical issues of modern geophysical marine technologies.
