The 10th International Conference “Marine Mammals of the Holarctic” was held in Arkhangelsk October 29 - November 2, 2018. To participate in the conference, the Institute of Oceanology delegated a large team of researchers who presented a number of oral and poster presentations.

The International Symposium "Mesoscale and Sub-mesoscale Processes in the Hydrosphere and Atmosphere" (MSP-2018) is held at the Institute of Oceanology. During the first two days of work, the most interesting reports of students and followers of Professor K.N. Fedorov were performed. 39 oral presentations were made, as well as 22 poster presentations.

October 30 - November 2, 2018 The International Symposium "MSP-2018" "Mesoscale and Sub-mesoscale Processes in the Hydrosphere and Atmosphere" is held at Shirshov Institute of Oceanology. The symposium is organized by IO RAS and the S.Yu. Witte Moscow State University with the assistance of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
